I have been collecting Matchbox cars since 1969. I have a collection of over 500. However, I have never found a quality site to sell them. This may be it. The problem is that none of my cars are still carded. They have been kept in cases for years and have not been handled. How does the fact they are not carded effect the value? Is there even a market for vintage Matchbox cars uncarded? *Where can I find a website, a guide or a listing of Matchbox cars online with their respective values? What do I need to do to start selling? Thank you, Darren

hi darren the fact that your cars are loose does effect the value, however it also depends on what someone is willing to pay for the model. You can try to sell them on ebay, plus ebay is a good source to check pricing. However a better source is get yourself a book by charlie mack, they are available at most book stores or even amazon. it is called the Encyclopedia of Matchbox by charlie mack. He also has a book dedicated to certain eras of matchbox too and those would be a great tool. If you do not want to sell them on ebay you can try selling them here. You also need a list and condition of each model.
