Next Illinois Matchbox Collectors Club Meet: When: Saturday Evening, October 24, 2009; 6 PM. Where: Colonial Cafe Restaurant, 1625 E. Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois 60174 Meet will be held in the back Dining Room This meet take place the night before the Chicago Kane County Toy Show. The Colonial Cafe is located near the hotels that the dealers and collectors stay at that attend the Toy Show. Everyone is welcome. Anyone who is in town for the Kane County Toy Show is welcome. We have chosen this meeting location to further promote the Matchbox hobby in the Chicago area, and to make it easy for Toy Show attendees to visit. Spouses, friends, children, families are all invited. You do not have to be a member of IMCC to attend, but membership has its privileges! Please plan to purchase a meal or Ice Cream treat at the restaurant as that supports the cost of the rental of the room for our club meeting. There will be a swap meet, raffle, downhill Matchbox/Hot Wheel races, reports from Mattel, and many suprises. Please call Bob Neumann to make reservations so we have a count for the restaurant.
